Privacy
This website is built to collect as little personal data as possible. It sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking.
Who is responsible
This website is operated privately by Camelia Brandas and Dacian Brandas, who are jointly responsible (the "controllers") for the processing of personal data on it. They are based in Cahuita, Costa Rica, and you can reach them at solarpunkforest@gmail.com. See also the imprint.
Visiting the website
When you visit this website, our hosting provider, Hostinger International Ltd. (Larnaca, Cyprus), automatically records technical information in server log files: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, your browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the website securely and is based on our legitimate interest in operating it (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are kept only as long as needed to run the website securely, and are then deleted.
Cookies, analytics and fonts
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. All fonts are stored on our own server, so no data is sent to Google or any other font provider when you visit.
Videos
Some pages show videos hosted on YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. When you do, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com and Google Ireland Limited receives your IP address and information about your device. See Google's privacy policy.
Contacting us by email
If you email us, we use your email address and the information in your message only to reply and to follow up on your request. We keep it for as long as needed for that purpose, unless we are legally required to keep it longer.
Links to other websites
This website links to social media profiles and other websites. Their own privacy policies apply once you follow a link.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, email solarpunkforest@gmail.com.
